My background

I’ve always been a creative, from a young age I loved Theatre and Film. Growing up, there was nothing else I could really see myself doing!

I started my film making journey at the National Film and Television School, where over two years I learnt everything I could about shooting and editing. I completed my Masters degree in Directing and Producing for Television. It was a education, getting hands on experience, creating, and winning awards as well!

The next step in my journey, was joining the Film and TV industry. I worked in Television on a variety of shows. I absolutely loved my time working in TV and Film, working in a bunch of different roles over the years.

Whilst working in TV I also bought my first camera, a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4k. I tried my hand at making short films, music videos and promotional work, with great success!

And then the pandemic hit……

How did I get into Weddings?

My last job in TV was on The Great British Bake off. I loved it, and I loved working in film and TV, but the problem was that when you are working on these kinds of shows, you are away a lot. And sadly after COVID I didn’t want to be away for long stretches of time anymore!

From that moment I was hooked. The joy and happiness I had helped create were addictive! After a few more friends and family weddings, I started making this my full time job, although I dont really see it as a job!

I now strive to create these kinds of moments for more and more couples. I would love to do so for you.

That year my sister was getting married. Due to restrictions she asked if I could bring one of my cameras with me to film her ceremony.

I ended up pulling out all the stops, bring both cameras, my gimbal, sound recording kit, drone and everything else I had to make her a beautiful film of her wedding day!

What is my style?

I got married myself back in 2022, a year when everyone I knew seemed to get hitched.

From all of these weddings, I noticed something. Often, some of the videographers would practically be shoving a camera right under the couples noses!

I aim to avoid this as much as possible. My goal for your big day is to capture beautiful, cinematic shots, whilst not being intrusive or getting in your way.

Essentially I capture your key moments, whilst being a fly on the wall.

And that is basically me in a nutshell! If you’d like to get to know me more, or learn about what I offer then please click the link and get in touch.
